@dekalyboy , how do you sync those 3 generators ? or its free-form ? 🙂
Thanks for your question. The Pulsar 23 was designed for live rec/playing and the ch. rec to capture and warp their timing among other things, therefore, without a redesign of the touch sensors and associated circuits it would not be possible to record data via CV, trigger outs, etc.
May i ask, in your scenario, where would the triggers be coming from ? An external sequencer / source ?
very cool! Thanks for your posting
Some really cool unique ideas and designs there.. thanks for posting 🙂
It really depends on from whom you purchase parts (mouser.com or others suppliers) and what you desire for your final build to be. It could be on the cheaper side or an expensive side , like a hot rod style case :).. I’ve heard through the grapevine, that for a few folks, the total came out to be somewhere around 300-500 USD excluding the kit.
Apologies, and thank you for effort with the patch recall sheet, very useful indeed! We’re still fine-tuning the forum and therefore some kinks still need to be ironed out. In the meantime, please post freely (as long as it abides to our modest forum guidelines 🙂 and ill correct any blocks or issues asap! Thanks for your understanding.
Sure, ideas welcomed 🙂 .. We’re entertaining this idea now
Thanks for your question, yet it’s a very “broad studio setup” question 🙂 Can you please tell how do you have the Pulsar 23 setup now, what’s patched to what that you are not getting it to play along? If you need help setting it up properly to receive midi/clock may i suggest reading the manual first, it has many suggestions for different use cases that you will find helpful. Unfortunately we cannot give you recommendations on other manufacturer modes of operation, please refer to their reference literature or you can contact their support channels.

It can be done by assigning the function you want to change to an “unused” Key (any note on your controller) or any “unused” CC controller (knob or fader) first, then assign your new desired note or CC to the function you want to use. It’s a workaround but it’s really as quick as it would be having a dedicated batch function. The reasoning for this decision was that it’s not often someone will want to change/erase everything already assigned at once, therefore a dedicated batch function wasn’t included. Hope that helps
Pardon the delay and thanks for your regards. Covid-19 did slow production down but everyone is well and returning to normal now. If you have specific questions to your position in the wait list, time-frames or support, for a prompt reply its best to email us directly here: [email protected]
You can get a melodic bass drum yet it won’t track pitch via midi or CV as accurately as the bass module. And yes you can control the attack and release via Midi (the learn button between them will allow this).
Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we have no plans to offer a DIY Kit. We may consider this in the future but not anytime soon.
