I recently used a recording of quantum ocean modulated by slink by Hypnus records (https://hypnusrecords.com/shop/p/slink – a filter bank based on water) with a convolution reverb using impulse responses recorded using hydrophones to try and mimic the sea for a radio art project I was working on.
I often play with the volume knob on the QO whilst meditating to simulate the waves rolling in. I have spent a lot of time in India studying meditation and it takes me back to a specific time near a beach near Pondicherry when I used the waves a mantra for meditation.
