FREDDY FRESH

—  is an American DJ, musician, and electronic music producer. Fresh has recorded for over 100 independent record labels, including major labels. He is also founder of the record labels Howlin’ Records, Electric Music Foundation, and Analog. Freddy Fresh has  shared stages with artist such as  Prince, Bjork, Daft Punk, Bob Dylan, Eminem, Metallica, Violent Femmes, Grandmaster Flash, Blink 182 and has remixed songs for Delakota, Tito Puente, Gus Gus, KRS1, Heaven 17 among others.

SURGEON

— ( aka Anthony Child), is an English electronic musician and DJ. Surgeon releases music on his own labels Counterbalance and Dynamic Tension.  He has also been recognized as one of the first wave of DJs to use Ableton Live and Final Scratch to supplement his DJ sets.

ANTHONY ROTHER

—   is an electronic music composer, producer and label owner living in Germany. Anthony Rother was described as an influential visionary, an electro pioneer and one of electronic music’s most prolific producers. For more than two decades Rother aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music.

PROJECTS

SOMA AXON

This is the first artistic collective of SOMA Laboratory in South America. Their goal is to experiment with the machines and sounds that SOMA Lab delivers and add them to our audiovisual, musical and other art disciplines that they use to express themselves. As a community SOMA AXON seek to strengthen ties with local artists, share these experiences, accompany them and collaborate in their creative processes.

This is the first artistic collective of SOMA Laboratory in South America. As a community SOMA AXON seek to strengthen ties with local artists, share these experiences, accompany them and collaborate in their creative processes.

SOMA is the place from where we nurture our creations and, at the same time, we return our creations to it, feeding back a system that has no end. It is a space that is constantly growing, open to other creators who want to be part of this community.
