Wondering how I could sync the ROAT to my MPC Live? Would I just get a mini jack to midi cable? Is that all there is to it, or is there no option to do this? I’m pretty new to sync’ing devices so I’m wondering favorable ways to sync my ROAT.

If your MPC can generate a clock signal or pulse, it will work. This is typically not possible via MIDI.
RoAT can only receive or send clock or pulse for synchronization.
There are many MPC models on the market and I am not aware if they have this output, if you tell me your exact model I can check the specifications and let you know for sure if it is possible.
