Any updates on the MIDI/CV breakout box? What’s the current estimate to release or beta testing?
No firm date yet, but we expect it will enter mass production within a few months. It will be announced on all the usual channels when it’s ready for ordering.
So you have time to get really good on FLUX before then 🙂
Checking in after a few months. Any recent updates on the breakout box?
Right now it looks like we can start production in September.
Any idea on breakout box price in September?
Post some specs?
Price information will be available once production starts in September. This is because we always try to find ways to lower the price as much as possible while streamlining the new production process for a new product.
The breakout box will have 11 CV outputs and one MPE MIDI output. All parameters taken from the magnetic keyboard are then available as unipolar and bipolar CV signals and MIDI CC data.
Detailed specs will be released at a later point, stay tuned!
What’s the estimated price of the breakout box gonna be? Will decide whether or not I grab the flux.
is the breakout box able to convert to hz/v? Or is it possible to add it in a firmware update?
Is there an ETA for a Flux BoB configuration utility? The manual suggests that socket ranges can be configured from -5..5v (bipolar) to 0..5v (unipolar), which would help integrate tilt with e.g. Soma WARP etc. beyond default settings.

Solid device with defaults, but reluctant to hack.
