I’m configuring the Breakout Box for the FLUX with the settings packet from the manual. I checked the DIN MIDI OUT on a MIDI monitor while playing FLUX.
Packet sent: F0 7E 46 4C 55 00 14 15 16 17 18 19 1E 03 14 15 16 17 18 19 1A 00 04 05 00 01 00 00 00 00 F7
- Applied correctly: the six timbre-sensor CC numbers and the FLUX CC channel. Sensor CCs came out on channel 4 as set.
- Not applied: the FLUX tilt CC number. I set it to 30, and earlier to 1, and tilt still sends CC 26.
- Not applied: the FLUX voice 1 and voice 2 MPE channels. I set them to 5 and 6, and earlier to 1 and 1, and notes still come out on channels 2 and 3. BoB does send All Sound Off on channels 5 and 6 at startup, so the values are stored.
Being able to set the voice channels matters for non-MPE synths, which need notes and CCs on one channel. FLUX firmware: Latest 3.0 on website, BoB firmware: what it came with. (I don’t see any updates on the website.)
Let me know if I’m missing something about the settings or if there are plans for firmware updates.
