Hi I’m using the cosmos as the end of chain on a pedal board for bass and I’m wondering if it would be acceptable to power the cosmos using the variable output of a walrus audio canvas power 8 set to 12 volts with a reverse polarity center positive cable. The power unit is center negative and the cosmos is the only center positive pedal I’m using. This would use all 8 outputs of the power supply, but currently without the cosmos I’m at around 40-50% of the maximum load. Thanks for your help. Just don’t want to fry my cosmos.

        Hi Slowhymn,

The Cosmos draws about 250mA under normal operation, according to the manual the Canvas Power can provide 375mA at 12V, so it should be fine as long as you use the polarity swap cable to make it center-positive.
