<p data-start=”206″ data-end=”343″>I’d like to suggest a potential feature for Terra: the ability to customize the behavior of the parametric keyboard modes (A, B, C, D).</p>
<p data-start=”345″ data-end=”549″>Right now, these modes are fixed and define how the touch plates interpret input (pitch, timbre, dynamics, etc.). The idea would be to let users assign or adjust what each mode emphasizes — for example:</p>
<ul data-start=”551″ data-end=”690″>
<li data-start=”551″ data-end=”587″>
<p data-start=”553″ data-end=”587″>Mode A: harmonic overtone shifts</p>
<li data-start=”588″ data-end=”630″>
<p data-start=”590″ data-end=”630″>Mode B: velocity/touch surface mapping</p>
<li data-start=”631″ data-end=”657″>
<p data-start=”633″ data-end=”657″>Mode C: tuning offsets</p>
<li data-start=”658″ data-end=”690″>
<p data-start=”660″ data-end=”690″>Mode D: filter/noise balance</p>
<p data-start=”692″ data-end=”886″>This wouldn’t take away from Terra’s organic philosophy but would add a layer of personal expression, allowing players to shape the <em data-start=”824″ data-end=”843″>playability rules of the instrument, not just its presets.</p>
<p data-start=”888″ data-end=”1019″>I believe such a feature could expand Terra’s expressive range while staying true to its design as a living, playable instrument.</p>
<p data-start=”1021″ data-end=”1057″>Thanks for considering,</p>
