Flux Stand Adapter

Is the stand adapter meant to somehow attach more permanently to the flux (I see screw holes on the stand adapter but no corresponding mount points on the flux…) or is it simply meant to sit in the bracket loosely? I just received the Flux yesterday and already find myself wanting to be more tactile (I.e. holding the bow in a clenched fist and dragging my hand along the instrument) – without a permanent attachment, it has a tendency to slip and or tilt out of the loose stand.
