Is the stand adapter meant to somehow attach more permanently to the flux (I see screw holes on the stand adapter but no corresponding mount points on the flux…) or is it simply meant to sit in the bracket loosely? I just received the Flux yesterday and already find myself wanting to be more tactile (I.e. holding the bow in a clenched fist and dragging my hand along the instrument) – without a permanent attachment, it has a tendency to slip and or tilt out of the loose stand…
Thanks for any insights!
A word to the wise: don’t make contact with the FLUX when you play it.
FLUX is intended to sit on top of the adapter. The various holes are there to make it fit on as many different speaker stands as possible.
In order to prevent FLUX from sliding around, you can add a rubber layer on the bottom with glue or adhesives. Anything from a hobby or home improvement store will work, just cut to size with a knife or scissors.
