Thank you for the info on the grounded PSU available direct from Soma EU. I had a look at the online shop front, no grounded PSU, do you have details on pricing and shipping to New Zealand. I assume only one grounded PSU would be needed for the Enner and not the other Soma instruments (Cosmos, Pipe) I have that I would connect to the Enner. Please confirm.

I did some more experiments in the mean time, connecting my OpenTheremin (has grounded connection via it’s USB power supply) to the Ext Audio of the Enner, no hum heard.

To get a quote on shipping, please send your order including full name and address to our EU department at [email protected]. They have to calculate what it will cost exactly to New Zealand.

Since your OpenTheremin does not have a ground hum in its audio signal when connected to Enner, probably you will be fine with your other gear.

Thanks Soma Keymaster re grounded PSU. Can I assume correctly that this PSU is universal in that it will function correctly from our New Zealand 240V 50Hz mains supply? We do not use the EU mains plugs. Should I order the  PSU plus the EU cable and use an adaptor? In NZ we use the same mains plug as Australia.

You shouldn’t order the cable, only the power supply.  It’s  universal so any standard cable will fit with NZ/AUS mains plug. It’s the same type of cable used with laptop power supplies for example, the cable you plug into the brick.
