Greetings,
[Apologies if two posts from me on this subject end up appearing, but I tried to post the first one yesterday before realizing I needed to create an account. I haven’t seen that one yet so I’m guessing it was filtered out due to my lack of credentials.]
I am about to purchase a Cosmos and I’m trying to work out where to physically put it. I would like to be able to easily tweak knobs but also want to use the switches with my feet while playing guitar. Bending over to tweak knobs on the floor is not an option due to back problems.
I have solved this issue in the past with these Wingman knobs, which allow easy control of knobs with your feet. They come with variously-sized inserts so that they can fit a variety of pot shafts and I”m hoping they’ll fit the Cosmos’ shafts.
Can anyone tell me what kind of shafts are used in the Cosmos? Are they smooth, knurled, “D”-shaped, split or solid?
Also, are the stock knobs press-on or do they have set screws?
Thank you for any guidance you can offer.

Knurled, press-on. No set screws.
That’s helpful.
Don’t know that the Wingman will work on those but we’ll see.
Thank you for your reply.
Edit: I had forgotten that the Wingman knobs come with an insert that will fit the knurled knobs. I just found my stash of unused inserts – none of my previous Wingman “installations” needed one.
I’ll report back on how they work with the Cosmos in case anyone else is interested.
