FIRMWARE / WARP

WARP_V1.1.smf
If your WARP has a serial number greater than 505, an update is not required – the firmware is already installed in your WARP!

What’s added:
Sensor Lock
To prevent accidental effect switching, the device features a sensor lock function.

To activate sensor lock, quickly tap both sensors (Up and Down) simultaneously three times.
The time interval between taps must not exceed half a second.

When sensor lock is enabled, it is indicated by a series of slow blinks of the currently active effect LED.

While sensor lock is active, touching either sensor will not change the effect, but will turn off the current effect LED.

To deactivate sensor lock, quickly tap both sensors simultaneously three times again.
Deactivation is indicated by a series of fast blinks of the current effect LED.

Firmware Update:

  1. Copy the downloaded firmware file to the root directory of a USB flash drive.
The flash drive must be formatted as FAT32.
We recommend using USB flash drives with a capacity of 1–32 GB. Avoid high-capacity drives.
  2. Unscrew the six screws on the bottom panel and remove the panel. Caution: a grounding wire connects the panel to the PCB!
  3. On the left side of the PCB, locate the USB port and the tactile switch.
Power off the WARP. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port.
While holding down the tactile switch, power on the WARP and wait for approximately two seconds.
A successful firmware update is indicated by an LED animation running several times from top to bottom.
  4. Reinstall the bottom panel and fasten the screws.
    The update procedure is complete.

If the firmware update fails, this is indicated by an LED animation running several times from bottom to top.

If this occurs:

  • Check that the USB flash drive is functioning correctly.
  • Ensure the firmware file is located in the root directory and its file name has not been changed.
  • Try a different USB flash drive.
  • Format the flash drive and copy only the firmware file before retrying.
