NOISE GATE – lowering the noise floor

after simultaneously pressing  HPF+LPF+ERASE buttons to lower the noise floor by a factor of 10, the left HPF orange light and the right orange LPF light stay lit. what does this mean? has the noise floor lowered or have I engaged HPF & LPF as well, and need to turn lights off after doing the noise floor lowering function?

Yes, this happens when you don’t press the buttons perfectly simultaneously. Cosmos then “thinks” that you pressed hpd lpf first and leaves it on. Just switch it off and you’re good to go.
