Triggering from eurorack voltage issue

I’m sequencing Pulsar with Intellijel Steppy which outputs 5v gates. I can’t achieve full velocity this way. Is there any way to adjust this on Pulsar or do I need to amplify the gate signal in eurorack before putting into Pulsar?

From the manual “The permissible volt-
age range connected to the inputs of the Pulsar is -20 to +20 volts. However, the effective operation of the input is limited to a range of 0 to 10 volts.”

So the answer is yes, to achieve full velocity, you need to send a 10v signal.
