Triggering midi through shuttle control?

Hi there, I’m interested by using the ornament for triggering midi notes

Did someone here already use it with a shuttle control eurorack module?

Shuttle control can take anything from cv to gate.

 

But can we use the ornament with different pulse duration?

My main concern here is being able to trigger more or less long notes for instance.
