SHAOS – can’t record to DATA pin

hi all,

 

I’ve spent some time trying to register signals to the DATA pin on the SHAOS. I can’t get it to work. Getting new random sequences by throwing the switch to 217 (or 63) and back works fine. But when I try recording by connecting 10V (or GND) to the pin nothing happens. Anyone out there who can shed light on this?
