Hi Thomas,

Cosmos algorithms only start working once you’ve recorded audio into its memory and you turn the Mix knob past 12 o clock. The rhythmic firmwares have different functionality and offer reverb (by turning the Blur knob) without recording, but the rest of the Cosmos effects will only work once you’ve recorded into it.
